Terms and Conditions for Dog Behaviour and Training Services
By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms in full. Please read carefully before proceeding.
1. Our Services

1.1 Our services are provided by Erinn Govers, trading as All Dogs Go To Erinn Behaviour and Training, located at 27 Orchard Street, Aberdeen, AB24 3DA.
1.2 "You" or "the Customer" refers to the individual purchasing the services, as detailed on the invoice. By booking a service, you are agreeing to these terms.
1.3 After your initial inquiry, we’ll request details about your dog and the challenges you're facing. If we believe we can assist, we'll offer either an in-person or remote session.
1.4 To ensure the most effective session, we may request specific information, including video footage, prior to the meeting. Usually, there is no need to prepare your dog, though this can vary depending on the issue.
1.5 Our initial sessions typically last 3 hours (for Behaviour Support Packages) or 1 hour (1:1 Training Packages). Following the session, you’ll receive a summary within 4 days, with a detailed report and behavior plan within 5 working days. Follow-up sessions are usually 1 hour unless otherwise agreed.
1.6 When purchasing a support package, we’ll agree on the most suitable schedule for sessions at the time of booking.
1.7 Remote support (email, WhatsApp, phone) included in your package is subject to a reasonable use limit: 3 hours for Behaviour Support.
1.8 A booking is confirmed only once full payment and a completed booking form are received. Confirmation will be sent by email.
1.9 Failure to pay the full amount or submit the booking form within 7 days of the invoice or 72 hours prior to the consultation will result in the release of your session slot for other bookings.

2. Payment and Pricing

2.1 Our prices are listed on the website. You can purchase single sessions or complete packages, which vary depending on the services provided. We will advise you on the most suitable package for your needs before booking.
2.2 Pricing may vary depending on individual circumstances and complexity, which could affect the number of hours required.
2.3 Full payment must be made upfront. Payments can be made via our website or bank transfer.
2.4 Package sessions must be used within three months (for Behaviour Support) or one month (for Behaviour Advice and 1:1 Training) of the original purchase date. Unused sessions after this period will expire.
2.5 If your pet is insured, you may be able to claim for the cost of our services. Please check with your insurance provider prior to booking. You remain responsible for paying all fees.

3. Weather, Changes, and Cancellations

3.1 We train in all types of weather unless there is an amber weather warning in place. There are no refunds if you cancel due to bad weather.
3.2 In cases of severe weather, we may need to reschedule. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date.
3.3 Should we need to reschedule a session for any reason, we will give you as much notice as possible.
3.4 If you need to reschedule due to illness or other reasons, please inform us in writing. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the session being forfeited.
3.5 All booking fees are non-refundable.
3.6 You may cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund, provided no services have been delivered. If services have been delivered, a partial refund will be issued, based on the number of sessions completed and time spent on preparation.
3.7 Any changes to how services are delivered (e.g., in response to government guidelines) will be communicated promptly via email.
4. Pet Health and Welfare
4.1 Animal welfare is at the heart of our work. We ensure that all methods used are ethical, humane, and focused on positive outcomes.
4.2 We do not endorse the use of e-collars or any aversive methods. Any breach of our welfare standards may result in termination of services.
4.3 We recommend regular veterinary checks for your dog to ensure health and welfare are prioritized.
4.4 For safety, ensure that young children are supervised by an adult during all sessions, so that focus remains on the training process.
4.5 If your dog has any known behavior issues, including aggression, please inform us prior to the session. This information is crucial for everyone’s safety.

5. Complaints and Refunds

5.1 If you have any concerns about our service, please contact us at erinn@alldogsgotoerinn.com. We will address and investigate your complaint promptly.
5.2 If you change your mind within 14 days of booking and no services have been rendered, a full refund will be issued. If services were delivered, refunds will be calculated based on the number of sessions completed.

Terms and Conditions for Puppy Classes Service
By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms in full. Please read carefully before proceeding.

Puppy Class Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to train with us! To ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable experience for everyone, please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully.

1. Eligibility

-
Puppies must be between 10 and 18 weeks of age at the start of the course.
-
All puppies must have received their first vaccinations at least 7 days before the first class (confirmation may be requested).
-
Owners are responsible for ensuring their puppy is fit and healthy to attend.
2. Bookings & Payments

-
Full payment is required in advance to secure your place. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellations & Missed Sessions

-
If you are unable to attend a session, we regret that we cannot offer refunds or catch-up classes. However, class notes will be provided, and you are welcome to contact us for further guidance.
-
In the event of instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative date or a partial refund if a session must be cancelled.
4. Class Environment

-
Please arrive on time with your puppy wearing a Y-shaped harness, a flat collar with a legally required ID tag (with your name and address), and attached to a standard lead.
-
Flexi (extendable) leads are not permitted in class for safety reasons.
-
Bring plenty of high-value treats, a chew or food toy, a blanket, fresh water, and poo bags.
-
You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour and must ensure they are under control at all times.

5. Cleaning Up & Respecting the Venue

-
You must always clean up after your puppy, both inside and outside the venue.
-
Please dispose of waste responsibly and be mindful of noise and parking to respect our neighbours and do not let your puppy toilet in gardens to/from the hall.

6. Behavioural Concerns

-
Our puppy classes are designed for basic training and early socialisation. They are not suitable for puppies showing signs of aggression or significant fear-based behaviours.
-
If we feel that the class environment is not suitable for your puppy’s welfare or the safety of others, we may recommend private training or behaviour support instead.

Refund Policy for Puppy Classes
-
Once a class has been booked and attended, no refunds are available.
-
In cases where a puppy’s behavior is unsafe or disruptive, and it’s necessary for the puppy to leave the class, this policy still applies.
-
Our goal is to ensure a safe and positive environment for all puppies and owners. If concerns arise, we’ll always discuss alternatives, such as private training sessions, to continue support.

7. Children in Class

-
Well-behaved children are welcome under adult supervision.
-
Please ensure children always remain seated or beside you for safety reasons.
-
Children are not permitted to have control of the dog outside of the hall - your puppy must be walked in and out of the hall and kept under control during breaktimes by an adult.
8. Liability

-
Attendance is at your own risk. While all reasonable care is taken, we cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to you, your puppy, or your belongings.
-
Owners are expected to have appropriate pet insurance in place.

9. Training Methods

-
We use only kind, positive, and reward-based training methods.
-
Harsh handling, physical punishment, or the use of aversive equipment (e.g., choke chains, prong collars, slip leads for control, no pull harnesses) is not permitted and may result in dismissal from the class.
10. Photography & Social Media

· Photos or videos may be taken during class for training or promotional purposes. Please let us know if you’d prefer not to be included.
11. No Smoking

· Vaping/smoking is not permitted outside the hall in between lessons.

By booking a place on our puppy course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above Terms and Conditions.
